I have the same situation as HooteNanny. My boyfriend and I moved cross-country together with whatever would fit in our cars and nothing else. We've been slowly building up, and still have a long way to go. Splitting our stuff up would be HARD.

I have the opposite situation with the TV though...we lived with his brother for a while, who, for whatever reason, bought a 50-something inch behemoth HDTV, you know, one of those ones that is its own piece of furniture. The thing is HIDEOUS and takes up so much floor space. The brother ended up moving a state away and didn't feel like moving the TV and guess who "got" to keep it? We did. Needless to say, I won't be fighting for that one.

I shrieked audibly the moment the page loaded. And not in a positive way.

This spoils it for me. How much time is supposed to have passed? In 5 seasons their apartments didn't change a whole lot, and now all of a sudden Carrie has blue walls and a purple rug??

I'm still going to see it...I was too big a fan of the show.

Also, looks like Carrie suddenly has no radiator in her bedroom...

I wonder if they really did use used ones, or if they just got a case of them or whatever, just to make a statement. I find it hard to believe that they fished these out of the garbage or that people were thoughtful enough to collect them rather than toss them. The point is lost unless they are really used, i think.

Maybe I'm just a pessimist.

Can't stand it. I agree with jojippitydrum...it seems as if you reverted to an old version rather than upgrading. I can't name a single improvement. I say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The old format (with the black background) was so much better.

It kind of sucks too because so many of the comments on some of the most recent house tours had nothing to do with the home at all, but with the slideshow. Totally detracted from the purpose of the tours.

ALSO, half of the ones I tried to look at I didn't even get halfway through, because either it was loading too slowly or the format was too bulky and distracting.

I think the black background is so much better than the white because it allows you to really get a feel for the home. The white is just too distracting.

Ikea doesn't sell anything online that would be worth the shipping cost. It is pretty much just the big stuff, for which the shipping usually ends up costing as much if not more than the product. WHY does Ikea do shipping so poorly??
