I live down the street from her studio, and she makes some really great stuff. She has open studios about twice a year. Really gorgeous cake stands, too, but they're a bit rich for my blood. Designer: Whitney Smith |

omg. i love kombucha. a coworker introduced me to it a few years ago, and it's great. it's sour and fizzy. gives me energy, makes me feel better when i'm sick. it's great. What's the Deal With: Kombucha? |

I pretty much will take them any way, but my favorite is tossed with olive oil, garlic, ginger and salt and either roasted or grilled. I also just made a really delicious asparagus and crab soup from Into the Vietnamese Kitchen cookbook on Sunday. I love asparagus season! Virtual CSA Box: Asparagus |
