Does anyone know where to buy simple dollhouses like these? Either assembled or as a kit? I've searched various online sources and all the dollhouses I see are (very expensive) precious Victorian-style homes with lots of gingerbread. Wait, what's wrong with a teepee? I LOVE the teepee! Is it culturally insensitive to Native Americans? Why couldn't it be a teaching opportunity to educate kids about Native American cultures? I'll caveat this by saying that you should absolutely do what you feel is best for you and your baby. But I will say that I love the peace of mind that goes with knowing our little girl is safely secured in her crib. She's two years now, but when she was a baby and started rolling over on her own, we would find her in all sorts of different positions and places in her crib. So there was definitely a lot of activity going on in there during the night! Now that she's older, she wakes in the morning and plays with her stuffed animals or books. It gives us a little extra time to "prepare" for the day and allows her to develop some independent play-skills without getting into trouble. I'm actually a little anxious about the day she moves to a "big girl" bed and has free reign of the entire apartment! Good luck with your decision! Montessori Floor Bed Logistics? Love TJs! We have so many favs. Including: the frozen Tarte D'Alsace; the seasonal pumpkin bread mix (wish it was offered all year round and not just at Thanksgiving!); and this is going to sound really lazy and weird, but their peeled hard boiled eggs are amazing. I suck at hard boiling eggs (who knew it was so tricky!) and the yolks on the Trader Joe ones are super fluffy. We also recently discovered a jarred coconut green curry sauce that is well on its way to becoming a pantry staple.
