I also highly reccommend the book Entertaining Vegetarians By Celia Brooks Brown. There is an amazing recipe for spice crusted small potatoes and all the other recipes are excellent (such as eggplant olive truffle, orzo salad, sugarbeans salad, tajine).

I received one as a present and it's on the top shelf. I don't think I've ever used it for soup but in the summer we use to serve watermelon balls marinated in port wine...
