A rental apartment with grasscloth? I don't think I've ever seen anything but builders beige unless it was an apt. in someone's house. That's fantastic if he really installs details like that in a rental building.

I've never considered tipping an electrician, plumber, painter, etc just like I've never considered tipping my dental hygienist, my realtor or my optician who helps me pick out new frames. Movers I only tip because everyone else does (I do though buy lunch and have bottled water/soda on hand for them). Tipping has gotten so out of control.

If this was a post on a color scheme then the writer's preference should be included...but since this is a post on a window covering, why bother including that? Seems like a backhanded dig, something that appears on this site way too often lately.

I think the photos were taken from opposite sides, judging from the electric meter..would explain how that attached house disappeared. But anyway...shazaam that looks good.

This made me laugh.

It used to be, on my street, neighbors that would play their music (awful rap crap) well into the night so loud the entire block could hear. Then I got a burglar alarm. It mysteriously went off every morning at 3am. For two weeks. Now, the music isn't so loud anymore.

One reason I like Small Cool is so I can feel superior in my spacious 920 square feet of rowhouse. However, this space makes me wish I could lose the extra 523 square feet that I'm obviously wasting. Great place!
