Gorgeous. Is the ceiling painted or is that just a shadow I'm seeing?

Should I still wear camp if I'm pretending to kill and decapitate a paper macho deer? Or can I just pretend I'm wearing it?

Buy for the long term, think of it as the house you will leave in your will to your kids or grandkids. Not the house you'll flip in 5 years to upgrade to something with more bedrooms.

A rental apartment with grasscloth? I don't think I've ever seen anything but builders beige unless it was an apt. in someone's house. That's fantastic if he really installs details like that in a rental building.

I'd stick with subway tiles but in a herringbone or different pattern versus the usual. In the long run, classic will win out over unusual or trendy.

I've never considered tipping an electrician, plumber, painter, etc just like I've never considered tipping my dental hygienist, my realtor or my optician who helps me pick out new frames. Movers I only tip because everyone else does (I do though buy lunch and have bottled water/soda on hand for them). Tipping has gotten so out of control.

"this concept is a bit insensitive."

so is sitting at your computer surfing websites for hours a week when you could be (1) not using the electricity, (2) working at a homeless shelter, (3) chilling the f*ck out about stuff that doesn't matter

If this was a post on a color scheme then the writer's preference should be included...but since this is a post on a window covering, why bother including that? Seems like a backhanded dig, something that appears on this site way too often lately.

I'm so glad they have a streaming only option, it's exactly what I've been waiting for and the price drop was a total cherry on top.

I think the photos were taken from opposite sides, judging from the electric meter..would explain how that attached house disappeared. But anyway...shazaam that looks good.

For the last 10 years, I've been using Billy bookcases, both the narrow and wide, in my office holding bound volumes of old daily newspapers...and have moved them through 3 offices, still in good shape, no noticeable warping of the shelves, mounted to the wall for stability.

Wood pallets are commonly treated with chemicals that contain arsenic, formaldehyde and other toxic substances. Treated wood should not be used for firewood, home remodeling projects, landscaping or animal bedding because it may release the chemicals into the air or ground.

It used to be, on my street, neighbors that would play their music (awful rap crap) well into the night so loud the entire block could hear. Then I got a burglar alarm. It mysteriously went off every morning at 3am. For two weeks. Now, the music isn't so loud anymore.

One reason I like Small Cool is so I can feel superior in my spacious 920 square feet of rowhouse. However, this space makes me wish I could lose the extra 523 square feet that I'm obviously wasting. Great place!
