So many Americans have trouble separating love of country from love of government. Being proud to be American does *not* mean being proud of the actions of the current administration (or any number of other ugly parts of our country's past).

I agree with "j i" above - it is almost impossible to predict how long trends will last. Flooring trends will change, just as trends for everything else will change, and there isn't anything you can do about it. I can't imagine that dark floors would ever look *bad*, anymore than light floors look bad. If it's a quality product, and not too out in left field, you'll be fine.

If you go dark, I recommend keeping the color to a moderate walnut, though, rather than almost black.

Boy, I'd have a hard time sharing, I love Amy Butler things. I might give a piece to my SIL. Maybe. :-)

So wait, if 40% of women thought that the baby was all the reward they needed, that means a whopping 60% thought they needed more!? How about a cookie, sweetheart? Dang.

I think the idea of having a commemorative gift for the birth of your child is a really sweet idea, and it's more the language that is being used nowadays to refer to these gifts that is tacky. Talking about them being "push" gifts, and "rewards" from a man to the woman who's bearing "his" child, just sounds very misogynistic to me. But to be honest, I'm not a parent yet, so maybe I'm being dreadfully naive.

Lia, it looks like that cute red and white bag is from Envirosax. I'm thinking there's no pattern, but you could probably just modify the pattern pieces of the other one to make a similar shape.

Rasabasa, I'll chime in on the answer to your question. The ABC poster is by Experimental Jetset for the documentary Helvetica, there are several limited edition posters, including that one, available on the site -- just click on "shop".

I love these, but am I the only one who can't find them at the Fly Bird site?

I did see them at what appears to be the manufacturer's site: http://www.hiphaven.com

You can get it through the Apple Music Store, as well. I don't have children YET, but I may get it just for myself! Beautiful.

This? Is amazing. It will save me hours of precious time spent testing all the key combinations I can remember. "Is it Opt-R? No. Opt-2? No. Opt-Ctrl-Shift-Open Apple-1-0-9? Huh, no, not that one either." Genious.
