You put a dog in a yard by itself, you have a dog staring at the door at you trying to get back into the house. Yards are good for letting your dog out to go to the bathroom (no trek down elevators or stairs). For exercise, you need to be exercising the dog, combined with walking and run around time. If you are active, a high energy or young dog is a good choice. If you are not, a older or low energy dog is a good choice for you. It does not matter the size of your house or yard! I had a big lab in my 500' foot apt, we walked all the time and did off leash in prospect park.
Shelter dogs are great!
Or for a more challenging project, you could raise a guide dog for the blind!

Besides the whole idiocy of burning something down as a environmental statement, the risks these idiots are causing to firefighters and anyone who lives nearby. Part of their punishment should be to work with burn victims and spend their jail time in the 100lb gear in uncontrollable heat conditions that firefighters have to.

I work on a tv show Lipstick Jungle. One of the characters, "Wendy" has a similar set up in her NY loft. The show is on nbc at ten on thursdays. It is a similar set up to the Japanese photo. The cabinets go up 12" higher than the counter so when you are outside of the kitchen you can't see the counter. But the part that is higher than the counter is actually a cubby on the reverse side. So you can put things like your toaster, etc in the cubby and not have it clutter up your counter. Also it keeps the counter out of view which can be nice. We actually shot originally in someone's loft in Manhatten, so what you see on the show is what their kitcchen was set up like. But when the show went into production they built a duplicate on a set. Check it out. I was taking measurements at work so I could maybe copy it someday!

unless it was a major plot point, it is unlikely that that the prop dept would have made these headphones up for the show. However, it is likely that someone could of said, I don't like the wires, they make wireless now, cut them off! Another thing to look for as far as manufacturer- any other electronics featured in the movie, they may be product placement. Might be hard to see the brand on the headphones, but maybe not stereo/speakers in the movie.
Movie was shot in NY, propmaster would be the one who got the headphones.

I just bought a sleep number bed. I don't know how environmental the manufacturing is, but on the east coast the bed is made in South Carolina and shipped to my home in two large boxes. It is modular and we will have to put it together. Part of the reason we went with the sleep number is we wanted a king size bed but can't fit it up the stairs. Since the sleep number has to be put together we will be able to fit it up our stairs. A foam bed was also an option(since it comes compressed), but we wanted a more traditional bed feel. We will see how it feels when we actually sleep on it. One pitch the salesman gave us, was that since it is modular, if one piece breaks, you can replace that piece, not the whole bed. He sold as a financial plus, you don't have to buy a new bed. I guess you could spin it green, you don't have to by a whole new bed!

That looks like green screen. That is what is used in the movie busoness for special effects. Put an actor in front of it and then film it. Then the effects guys can drop in any background they want. Also comes as blue screen as well. It is usually not paint, but a pice of fabric that is stretched on a frame. That's my guess.

I have this same closet. I wanted to be able to walk in and get dressed. Along the back wall I have two cube storage things from target( one with drawers and one with a door) Hanging from the bar I have a hanging shoe thing and two of the hanging things where you can fold clothes into them. Above the bar I have shelves all the way to the ceiling. On the left side I have shelves to the ceiling that line up with the shelves on the back. I rigged rods to hang underneath the shelves. Two rods that instead of holding the clothes sideways, the hold them flat against the wall. This way I can walk in easily. Underneath the hanging stuff I have a hamper and a sewing machine. This does not leave a lot of room for hanging items however, but I do not have a lot of clothes that need to hang. On the left side I have hooks attached to the wall. On the door I have a storage thing that has big pockets for purses, stockings and even some shoes.
