Yeah, to everyone on here who doesn't think there's any issues with putting this stuff in the bathroom here's my story! Our bathroom had a big window that for years was covered with that frosted window paper that aheres when you wet it.

So when I went to remove it, I sprayed it with water and had at it with a razor blade...

THE SMELL. WAS. HORRIFIC.

Years of urine, soaked into very thin paper - revolting.

Makes me gag at the thought of all of the urine being absorbed into the more pourous pieces in the above photos. YUCK!

If you think you're the exception to this rule I can only tell you that you're wrong. But do what you will!

Oh, I finally understand how I'm supposed to organize shirts in my drawers now! Going to do this as soon as I get home! I've been folding and stacking them and they just get totally messed up after a couple of days.

Usually I take it down when I have the energy to do it. I've left it up for months in the past. sometimes there's just a lot going on or, frankly, I'm too depressed! This year I took it down a few days into January which felt good, but I wouldn't beat myself up over it.

What the hell is wrong with you people? Maybe he likes the artwork, maybe he likes listening to music on a good stereo that hasn't been digitally compressed (and before anyone nags me, lossless takes up a lot of digital space).

My husband and I love our CD and record collection and will NEVER, EVER, NEVER EVER GET RID OF IT.

I think the biggest issue here is those CD racks. When you have space between every CD it takes up a lot of room, and really, they just look like crap anyway. I would suggest turning one wall into big vertical shelves and stacking the CDs next to each other instead.

Also, part of the appeal of CDs for me is seeing all the different colors next to each other, it's almost a source of pride! The same way people covet beautiful home libraries. Make it a feature instead of trying to hide it!

My suggestion:

1. Purchase http://mappeditions.com/publications/atlas-photographique-de-la-lune for £4.99
2. Download and save the .epub to your desktop
3. Rename the file extension from .epub to .zip
4. Extract the zip file (which will contain the images)
5. Print the images yourself

I have a similar problem, because when I refinished my piece I noticed that the caps weren't actually gold and that it was flaking off - suggestions? I really like the gold tone, so I don't want to just strip it off, I want to restore/replace it.
