Like Mangosteen, I was looking to buy a Miele and the salesman at the vacuum store recommended the Simplicity. You can get a Simplicity with a power brushhead and ALL the attachments you could want for the same price as a entry-level barebones Miele. I think the Simplicity might be a little louder, but it does a great job on everything and keeps the cat hair under control.
