Maybe the Panton chairs are showcased in so many homes since 1960 because they are iconic and the majority of modern design enthusiasts love them. I personally think insulting them with such fervor is arrogant, unless, you too, are responsible for something with the design staying power of 5 decades and counting.

I have the teal flocked hangers and I think they are fabulous. You can not hang wet or damp clothes on them or the flocking will come off. That said, three times the clothes(because they are so slim), no slippage, and no hanger nipples. I will concede that replacing all my and my husbands hangers was not cheap but my closet looks fabulous.

Keep in mind sometimes where a picture is hung depends on something like where the persons head is once they sit up in bed. A lot of pictures over beds and sofas are hung high for this reason.

It will not be a new decade until the beginning of next year because there was no year zero, yeah it blew my mind too.

Sauces, drizzles, garnishes, and dustings get lost on a colored plate. Invest in good white plates and the won't wear out.

I think you do not understand the thought process here. As someone who has been painted and photographed, once you receive the work you hang it because they honored your likeness. When I walk past images of myself, I think wow what an amazing photograph not wow ME. Also, I find it uncomfortable when I am sitting in a room enshrined with wedding pictures of the home owner. Not because the are of the home owner but because they are of the same scene, how about some variety.

Actually I have that system, from IKEA, with three tracks, not two. If they used the three track it would open fine.

Nothing is off limits. We have raised our daughter this way and she lives in and is comfortable in the whole house. We have mid century modern pieces, white slip covered sofas, original art, and art glass. Being raised like this, she know how to act in other peoples homes and in homes that do not have children. When she turned six she was allowed to pick the decor for her room, she wanted a Tord Bjoontie light and a Charley Harper lithograph, I am still so proud!
