About a year and a half ago an employee at their Oakbrook store told me that West Elm would indeed be moving into the current Whole Foods location at North & Clybourn, and Whole Foods would be moving to a larger location. I sort of dismissed it because that was so long ago and I heard nothing further about it. Hopefully Whole Foods moving somewhere else will help ease all the congestion in that area... I've had the Jasper for about a year, and the cushions are super comfy - I don't remember them being stiff at all. But I do remember they came out with a new version (though I thought it was only different fabric) right after I got mine, so maybe that's the difference? I'd give it time or call R&B and see if there's a difference of cushion filling between what you have and what's in the show room. I gave this exact same thing as a housewarming gift (though it was a different scent), and it was warmly received. We use these all the time in our projects - they're great for hallways, bathrooms and closets where you may not always have access to natural light. They get so bright you'll look for a switch to turn them off. Most of the companies who make these also have an integrated light option, so that a light bulb is built-in that can be used a night - that way you're not pocking up you're ceilings with both solartubes and light fixtures. Mniche - You've probably heard about BioBased Insoylation or some other brand. Either way, the soy oil replaces about 20% of the petroleum content in the insulation, reducing the amount of petroleum required to manufacture the foam. These are are essentially concrete, so just like any other concrete structure, it seems like it'd last a very long time. Though it'd be nice to hear if anyone's had a bad experience with it. We're using this product on a project I'm working on for kitchen countertops, and it's a lovely material. I use a butter bell and I love it - it works great! The butter is always perfectly soft - but I do change out the water regularly. My grandma has one and has used it forever.
