my sister was visiting me in my old apartment and it was about 10am and the consistantly rude, noisy neighbor downstairs was having really loud sex. we turned the radio on to drown it out but it didn't really work so we scanned the stations, found some ridiculous Polka music and blared it out the window. it killed the moment for them pretty quick.. haha

Well, I didn't complete the cure as well as I had hoped to, but I did get my place cleaned up and organized for the most part. I did a lot of purging and that was the biggest improvement by far. I ended up completing the bulk of the deep clean over 3 or 4 days last week because I had a guest coming over... haha There is still plenty to be done, but until I have a break from school and or work it will have to stay as is. I posted my before and after pics in the flickr group.

I just saw these at Target last night and was actually pretty impressed. Who needs a name brand alarm clock anyway? The product styling is great compared to most items on the shelf.

i find that i am stuck with trader joes frozen veggies because they keep longer than fresh produce, same goes for meat products. i never know quite what to do to them to make them interesting, so i eat a lot of plain old boring reheated tasting meals... i would love to find some recipies for one that use FRESH ingredients and that would yield some tasty leftovers. free me from my microwave please!

in my last apartment my neighbor downstairs was an obese balding sweaty man that always seemed to be walking into the building with a case of beer. around 2 or 3 am EVERY NIGHT he would puke loudly.. sometimes i thought he was leaning out the window, but it was just echoing off the concrete wall 3ft away from the bldg.. in my current apartment i just had to laugh when i discovered that EVERY MORNING around 4 or 5 am my alcoholic vietnam vet neighbor gets up with a hacking smokers cough until he pukes for about 15 minutes. he also is always seen walking in with a case of budwiser.. and he and his girlfriend YELL at each other all the time and when i was home sick one day i caught them scooping their cat litter OUT THE WINDOW. i most definitely yelled at them for that one... i live on the first floor and having cat shit outside my window is just not right.
