Love! What a great room, I will be happy if my daughter has such good taste when she is a teen to go for a room like that!

@EnteGans I made the fabric available for purchase @ Spoonflower http://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/lumisura

@Kerrie the orange lamp I bought at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Lite-Source-LS-21506ORN-Ceramic-Orange/dp/B003HD0A5W/ref=br_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=IWOF7ECX69Q80&colid=OYDIA2FQ1D5Y but it's a bit flimsy.

If anyone is interested, the makers of the Kid Sit deliver to the US. I just bought it directly on their website and received it at my house just fine. My daughter loved the "big kid seat" :-) This is their website: http://www.kleinedreumes.nl/

The safety police here needs to chill. This is not the point of this website. None of us has a clue how the room is being used, if it was staged for the photo, and so on. The parents definitely don't need complete strangers telling them how to keep their children safe. Are you guys walking up to complete strangers on the street to point out safety hazards involving their kids? I don't think so. Don't do it online either.

Rachel, the mobile is great, I pinned it and might make one for my son's room!

Mandyb, we hate the orange peel texture too but we can finally deal with it!

EnteGans, I'm not sure yet, I might make the fabric available in the future. The art I would have to look into it, since I bought the vector art and modified it, I don't know if I have the rights to sell it (have to look into the license).

tinyBUBBLES, we like the crib a lot, we used it for several years with our daughter, and also converted it into a toddler bed once she started getting out of the crib (although we had to wait several months for the conversion kit to be available from Oeuf).

I like the Skip Hop stuff but I love this bathtub even more! Anyone knows who makes it?

Our daughter is 4 and could still be in her toddler bed, but we moved her to a twin bed so we could use her conversion toddler bed/crib for the new baby.

I have no problem with the tattoo, since I have one myself...I agree with the skinny comments though, that is a lot more disturbing...

My favorite is orange though, followed by the least favorite yellow ;-) Hah! I guess I'm not too old yet...

peglegparadiddle, you are citing a study in a city in the Brazilian countryside. I don't think any doctor in Rio or Sao Paulo would exactly agree with it.

I tend to agree with the theory that says SIDS is related to all the toxic chemicals the US requires in the mattresses by law, but anyone believes whatever they want...

Ridiculous. That's a parental choice. I'm Brazilian, if I send you a link to a Brazilian crib set people here will have a heart attack with all the loose items inside of the crib - all sorts of pillows, blankets, toys, etc. I don't use most of these things, but interestingly enough, Brazil doesn't have a huge problem with SIDS and suffocation deaths like the US.

The city council shouldn't have a say about this at all. What's next, a ban on co-sleeping? Are they going to arrest people who are doing attachment parenting and co-sleep because in the AAP guidelines it's viewed as dangerous for the babies?

We have used baby tubs as beverage tubs in several baby showers, it's pretty cute.

The only thing that worked for our very stubborn daughter after trying many times like you did, was to remove diapers completely (even for naps and sleep at night) because she would just hold pee and poop until she had a diaper or pull up on to nap/sleep (yes, she could hold a very long time, an entire day if needed, from waking hour to bed time). After we completely removed the diapers for 2 full weeks she decided to use the potty and stopped going on her clothes. And yes, we had to clean her bed twice at night during those weeks (we had waterproof mattress covers). It was a total pain, but she is on the extreme scale of stubbornness. And she did get stickers on a reward chart and chocolate for every time she used the potty. She would just tell us (during those 2 weeks) that she didn't want any rewards, she didn't care to win anything. Good luck.
