Elegant is the first word that comes to my mind, too. I love the color palette - not exactly my taste but works just beautifully here. Every object seems chosen with care and lots of style. LOVE this apartment. Thank you for including pictures of the residents - I look to these tours to see how people have arranged their living spaces (emphasis on living) and love having pictures of the people to go with them. I use a mixture of mint jelly (it has to be mint) and Borax (about half and half). I put it into the lids of small jars and set near the entry points. In 24 hours - no more ants!! You do have to repeat every few days. Pesky Pests: How Do You Get Rid of Them | Apartment Therapy DC |

I love the colors in this home. It feels cozy and individual, as though the owners picked the colors they like and not what all the magazines are showing.
