Wall-to-wall carpet in the ........ wait for it............ kitchen! Oh, I was so impressed. How luxurious, I thought. But I was just a kid, and it was the 1970s (which explains A LOT). Now I can hardly bring myself to eat in a carpeted restaurant. It grosses me out.

Whenever I have leftover vegetables, I throw them in the Vitamix along with a big box of chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Sometimes I add sauteed onions and garlic. Then I pour it into a pot, heat, and serve. It never fails!

I'm kinda blown away by this. Stunning.

After clicking back to Russell's house tour, I remember it well. Clearly Russell has awesome style and taste. Plus, he's gorgeous and can probably heal some ailments. Somebody needs to snatch him up because he's a catch!

Before I was married with children, I lived alone. There were many nights that I cooked an amazing dinner for myself. On those nights, I sat at the dining table and savored my meal. On other nights, I sat in front of the TV and ate pizza out of the box. Both experiences were okay with me. I don't mind eating alone, so I really don't remember trying to find ways to make it less lonely.

Hahaha! I love that mint green door! Noticed it right away, even before I read your comment. Don't change it! I love an unexpected pop of color, especially when it doesn't really go with anything -- but looks great anyway. :)

This is what I'm talking 'bout! The owners/sellers modernized the furnishings, but restored the house. Kudos for preserving a piece of history. There were so many beautiful little cottages built in the twenties, and unfortunately, so many of them have since been "modernized" beyond recognition. Congrats to the lucky buyer who scores this gem.
