For the longest time, I used a women's laptop bag. You can usually find the purse style at Target for about $30. The part that was meant to hold the laptop was set up perfectly to fit my changing pads and diapers. And the other part held my things perfectly. There was even an inside zipper pouch dividing the two areas that was great for wet clothes. Seeking Handbag/Diaper Bag HybridGood Questions | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

I used to have a really hard time trimming my little ones nails once she got old enough to really figure out what was going on. And then a friend got me a small set of clippers that looked like a little bee. She thought that was hilarious and I've not have a problem for the past year. I just have to let her play with it a little after I'm done, which is not a big deal because it would be impossible to get anything in the clippers for her due to the angle and design of the piece. We had the boon bowl and it said it was dishwasher safe, but the first time I put it in it warped. I've never had this problem before, and called boon was nothing was ever done about it. It disappointed me because I really like boon's other products but will think twice before purchasing again. Also, the suction was not great on it the one time we got to use it. It seemed to be more of a game to get it off of the table for my little one than anything else. Suction Bowls Transitioning to Tableware | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

This isn't the most attractive solution, but it was a cost effective one for us. We took two of the long foam water floaties, cut a section out of each one, and attached them to our hearth with adhesive velcro tape. It's been there for a year now and is still holding strong. And it's much better at protecting our little one than the kind you can purchase for $40 or more at the store. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Good Questions: Baby-Proofing a Fireplace Hearth? |

And this post's comments section is a prime example of why I will not be frequenting this website much at all anymore, if ever. I have never met a group of such self righteous people who take it upon them selves to police the choices of people they don't even know. What ever happened to kindness between strangers. I bet most of you would be incredibly ashamed if your children knew of your behavior, and I bet that not a one of you would have the guts to say these thing to another person's face. Within the past year, my husband and I purchased an L shaped sofa from Bassett furniture and have been quite pleased. We were able to design the perfect couch for us, including corners, type of pillows and if they were attached or not, legs, and we even got to pick our own fabric at no extra cost. We ended up with a couch that seats at least 7 for just under $2500. And the cushions come with a lifetime warranty. I'd look into going this route if I were you. I'm sure the customer service is excellent as they say, but that does not make me want to spend 2.5 times more per yard of each of these fabrics than they are at my local high end fabric shop. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Nursery Fabrics |
