krunkinator, she explains on her blog that the counters are the standard 36" high. They look so low because she's very very tall. It seems like she's comfortable with the cutting board height. I think this is an excellent idea! I don't need it myself, but it is perfect for those who do. Extra-Tall Cutting Boards for Extra-Tall Cooks | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

I just made this tonight. My 18 month old son and my husband loved it! I couldn't taste it due to a cold - lame! I will be making it again, though. It was so so easy. Paul's Uova In Purgatorio Quick Weeknight Meals Recipe Contest 2009 | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

I love the reindeer cutout. intricate cut paper designs are traditional in Denmark - I love the re-imagining of it into something really modern and cool. The Snowstorm That Lars (and one creative team) Built: Design Students Deck Out The Danish Ambassador's Abode | Apartment Therapy DC |

We had the exact same night tables for 3 years before I finally found great night stands! So funny! Why in the world is it so hard to find a good night stand? I don't get it! Two other big placeholders - an Ikea malm dresser is filling in until I find a perfect dresser, and a Crate and Barrel veneered dining table is filling in for now. What I really want is something with solid wood and something a bit more interesting. Current table is very boring. We also have a couple of the Ikea NOT lamps ($8 each) that are definitely placeholders. However, we plan to move in the nearish future so I don't want to invest in anything now when I don't know what our needs will be in a new house. IKEA has just come out with a very nice play kitchen that has "electric" burners that glow red with the flick of a switch, a microwave, a sink and an oven. You can get just the base ($99) if you don't want the microwave and shelf unit on top. The whole thing is $140, which is more than a hundred dollars cheaper than a very similar one I just saw in a catalog. Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh | Roundup: DIY Play Kitchens |

Yep, B&M brand Boston Brown Bread with raisins, in a can. Still available. I like it toasted with butter--yum! My kids loved it when they were little. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Word of Mouth: PDQ Bread |

Checking back in to say that these are DELICIOUS!! The blueberry jam was perfect on top. These are great for summer when I don't want to turn the oven on. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Recipe Review: 2 Minute (Microwaved) Lime Cheesecake |

I just made these and used a water bath. They're still cooling in the fridge, so I can't yet say how they taste. But, with the water bath they were not pock marked at all. I plan to put some blueberry lime jam on top. Yum! Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Recipe Review: 2 Minute (Microwaved) Lime Cheesecake |

Victoria, check their website. Many of the items on there have prices listed. For the record, my two walnut Drexel bedside tables were $350 (for both). They do have some water stains on top (which Nini was quick to tell me about when I emailed about them), but that doesn't bother me. I must agree - Rob and Nini are the best! I actually happened to be at the store buying a couple of Drexel night stands when AT visited the store. The things I purchased were very reasonably priced and Rob cleaned them thoroughly before I took them home. The best part of all is that Rob and Nini are honest and nice, which is always important when you're spending money, especially on big-ticket and vintage items. Indeed it was. But it bears repeating - this kitchen has no style to start with. Don't preserve any of it. Gut it, put the cabinets in the garage, and put in a new kitchen. Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | How to Keep True to this Kitchen's Style? Good Questions |

These look cool, but are just rulers attached to IKEA furniture - with an extremely hefty markup. They'd be a very easy DIY. I'm not really seeing how this is "green" either, which is what Vivaterra purports to sell. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Vintage Ruler Table and Chairs from Vivaterra |

Another lover of butterfly chairs here! I spray painted the frame white and put one in our guest room. It isn't a great photo, but here it is: http://flickr.com/photos/emilymch/212040540/in/set-72157594232135805/ Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Close-Up! Diana's Butterfly Chair |

I'd put money on it that that IS an Ikea table used as the base. The matching step stool (also on that site) is definitely a $15 Ikea stool. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Vintage Ruler Table |
