Great list of the top companies providing natural/organic mattresses and bedding. It can be so hard to research companies online, especially since the words "natural" and "organic" are used far too liberally on most sites. The 10 Best All-Natural and Organic Mattress Sources Shopper's Guide |

Those organic throw pillows are awesome! I didn't realize they made them with such an array of designs yet. Organic pillows are also really important for your bed/where you sleep each night. You definitely want to be sleeping on the cleanest/healthiest materials possible. Colorful Organic Throw Pillows from Manor12 |

I couldn't agree more - the Dyson is the top of the line in functionality and technology when it comes to vacuum cleaners. They can clean so many different surfaces, and especially if you have kids or pets, these things are great at keeping everything very clean. What's Your Poison Vacuum? | Apartment Therapy Unplggd |

If you're looking for an natural mattress, I would definitely check out Savvy Rest's organic mattresses. They have a great selection and each mattress is completely customizable as far as how hard/soft you'd like your mattress to be. They have an actual store in Charlottesville and several dealers if you want to go check out your mattress options in person. They have a huge knowledge base of all aspects that an organic mattress has to go though as well as several certifications. Tips For Buying a Green Mattress? Great list of "green" boutiques! The one in Austin is right by my house and very cool. It's amazing how furniture and bedding can be eco friendly these days - it's about time. In addition to all the great decorations and bedding, purchasing an organic mattress should definitely be at the start of green purchases for the bedroom. 10 Great Green Boutiques: Coast to Coast Marketplace Store Guide | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest |

Those are some great examples of using large canvas prints in a room to really pull it together! It definitely makes sense that "large scale artwork can be a great way to create depth of space and a focal point in any space - big or small." Whether at your home, office, or even a retail space, artwork is definitely a way to give your space some character. Large canvas paintings can be a beautiful addition to any room. Look! That looks so cool! What a great art project. I know I don't always have the time but artwork is very important in any room as it gives it character. If you don't have the time for a DIY project, but love art or already have an image you would like on canvas, Gallery Direct offers a ton of canvas artwork in a bunch of categories like landscape, abstract, vintage, etc, or you can even send in a personal print and get it printed on any size canvas you like. It's extremely awesome. Anyways, thanks for the DIY tips. DIY Bohemian Art Panel | Apartment Therapy DC |

What a great way to share used cell phones. Most people get new phones pretty frequently and have no idea what to do with their old phones. What a waste. I'll definitely be using my phone till it no longer works, then I'll probably get a refurbished cell phone at an awesome price - since well, cell phones don't exactly withstand the test of time and the used and refurbished are just as good as the new and less wasteful! Wow, that house is gorgeous. I love the feel it gives off with all the unique furniture and great light from the windows. I think I'm going to try and take my house in a similar direction, incorporating modern and antique pieces throughout the house, coupled with some contemporary bedroom furniture for my private space. This is a beautiful example of how to decorate a house with taste and style. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Jennifer's Inner Sunset Retreat House Tour |

Not sure about your price range, but BoConcept has a lot of great modern design sofas that come in a variety of colors. I found the sofa below and while it still has that tufted look on the cushions, the back of it is a little more updated to make the perfect modern design sofa! Great table, sorry it was gone before you could buy it! I was looking for a similar modern table so when I saw your post, I knew I had to share my findings. I could check out this modern coffee table from BoConcept. They have a good variety and several side tables to match the style and aesthetic you were going for. Hope this helps, good luck! I have to agree with the majority of above comments too, a really dark slate gray would look choice. Also, with those beautiful floors, I think the gray paint would be a nice accent. And since gray is netural, you won't have to match anything else you put in the room. You could pick up some really cool modern living room furniture in whatever color you wanted. And the gray already matches your dining set. Apartment Therapy New York | Good Questions: Paint Color For This Space? |

I love finding niche and vintage furniture off of Craigslist. If you take the time to look in your area, you can really find some awesome pieces. I think it's good to mix old/unique/cheap furniture with some modern contemporary furniture. It gives the room a nice balance between old and new. A lot of times, people come in my house and they can't tell what I've spent a good deal of money on and what I grabbed off Craigslist or at goodwill. Those pieces are hard to come by, but well worth the effort! It's beautiful! The modern accessories add a crisp flare to every room. There are other urban furniture stores that have great contemporary pieces such as these. I'll suggest this one:BoConcept Apartment Therapy New York | Design Within Reach Bathroom: Fixtures Furnishings |

I agree with most of these comments, when bedroom furniture look like it comes in "sets," it often doesn't look as good as picking out original pieces. I think that something darker colored would greatly help all the "mainstream beige" going on in the room.
