Glad to see something unique and different on AT. While the overall feel of the apartment is too bleak for my personal tastes, I love that the couple is following their own vision. Even Rae's shoes match the decor. I'd love to see a picture of the family in the photo spread, especially since Rae is a fashion designer! The more variety on AT, the better. I only come here on occasion, because most house tours look exactly the same (Eames, Panton, chalkboard walls, chevron rugs...) I get more out of looking at spaces like this that may not be my taste but offer a unique perspective, than I do from a perfectly-balanced space that looks like everything else.

I love when guests bring something. Some of my favorite things are:

- a bottle of beer from out of state or that is otherwise hard to find (my husband is a brewer and he loves to try new things)
- a bottle of wine or champagne
- a treat for my pet parrot
- tea or coffee
- anything hand-made like a card or quirky art piece
- cheese
- a board game (even just for the night, take it home if you want)
- get dressed up
- come a little early to help

I love entertaining, and I feel like a gift or even just showing up looking dapper or gorgeous shows that you appreciate the effort I put into the party. A thank you note or text is always very nice too. My friend once showed up to my party several hours early, unannounced, to help clean and make sure I was eating (I get nervous before I have company over). She also brought wine, which helped me to relax.

I pay all of my bills online, so it makes it super easy to just shred all mail that comes in. I already have a digital copy of everything. Also keep in mind that most of the menus and other fliers that we used to save can now be accessed online.

My fiance and I love in a tiny one bedroom. our outbox os a hidden corner of the living room tjat is then transferred to the trunk of his car. I agree to a point aboit the books.i keep art books and favorite novels, but i would rather borrow from the library.

Beautiful! My fiance are trying to plan a fun wedding a reception that reflects us and our life together. we are also doing pies instead of a cake! We live in a tiny one bedroom, so we are renting a victorian home in our neighborhood. Congrats and thanks for sharing your special day!

My man shaves his beard and never gets the little hairs behind the faucet. I drive him crazy with my piles of projects and plant experiments.
