I pay all of my bills online, so it makes it super easy to just shred all mail that comes in. I already have a digital copy of everything. Also keep in mind that most of the menus and other fliers that we used to save can now be accessed online.

I'm giving my nieces Shel Silverstein books and a flock of geese from Heifer International. You can print out cards with children on them.

It's nice, but not what I expect on at. It looks a bit corporate for my taste.

Cool idea for an art gallery. Living in it would be torture! A bike lane is wider than this place!

I have beige and black tiles in my bathroom. White shower curtain, white towels, and quirky solid white soap dish and toothbrush holder. I also have a framed photograph I took of a mushroom on a camping trip. Many people remark on how clean and elegant the bathroom is! I think a bathroom should reflect ones personal style in a clean, minimal way.

I don't have one for two reasons: one, they are ugly and take up space physically and visually; two, I have lazy tendencies and enjoy the challenge and pleasure of cooking without a microwave. I have a small convection oven that cooks food quickly and well. My mom uses her old microwave as storage and I cringe over how it makes her otherwise pristine kitchen feel cluttered.

My brother bought the stuff in red many years ago. Make sure you get all the tiny bubbles out before you dip. I personally don't care for the look, feel, and smell of plasti coat. Practice on something before you try it with a cherished item.

I save glass jars for food storage and keep wine bottles filled with tap water in the fridge. My guests are always impressed with the elegant water service (also works great as a carafe bedside), but my boyfriend makes me keep my glass collection to a minimum. It seems that no matter how many jars I save we only have about 5 in the cabinet.

Thank you! great post! I buy well-made shoes that can be re-soled. It's cheaper in the long run and look much nicer than cheaply-made shoes. Green does not equal frumpy burlap.
