i wish it were cheaper to get some of the uk mags! right now, though, i have really been loving house and home. if they step it up and introduce some new content as a way to take over the domino audience, i think they could do well. i'm incredibly depressed!! and so disappointed. i honestly think domino is one of the few decor mags left work subscribing to. such a great range of high and low, simple inspirations and well done layouts. not stuffy like elle decor whose pieces are completely unaffordable. *sigh*. this is SO SAD! i just saw all the new KWID fabrics in person, and they are SO MUCH better than THIS! whoever decided to do an entire room in all the purple/pink prints should be fired. and, if it was kelly herself, then apologies my dear, but no no no no. it's too much to swallow all at once. the line, however, is fantastic (and for the most part original) for which we thank you :) Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Trendspotting: Nouveau 80's |

love pretty much everything about this nook - a cool take on rustic without TOO much kitch, and very cozy. i suppose you might have get the piece custom sized, but it could look just as cute (i think) to shove the sofa to one side, and pile some big ol floor pillows next to it to fill in the gap if you had to? could be a nice way to use tile that is vintage, salvage, etc - but i agree that maybe it needs to be done a little better? it seems like it would make most sense for a sink that's in a narrow space that is more 'framed' out than an open bathroom, where it looks kind of random.
