I used double-sided sticky tape in my entrance and on my whole large living room wall! Took alot of tape-- and patience-- but worked great, and easy to remove and even reuse the wallpaper.

I know my family is in the great minority here, but we have a tradition of getting the tree and decorating on Christmas Eve over Chinese food and christmas tunes. I think the Chinese food is a nod to our half-jewishness. This evolved of a genuine inability to get around to getting an x-mas tree until the night before christmas... and turned into a great tradition!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you are not a big cook. A stirrer would be great for sauces that ask you to stir the whole time they are cooking, while you are making the other parts of the meal. I've had to ask other people in the house for an extra hand in these cases. Another great example would be risotto, like you mentioned. But scrambled eggs? They turn out best with minimal stirring, at just the right point-- not stirring the whole time from the beginning like this. This gadget could actually be useful for cooking, but definitely needs some work. Thanks for the demonstration!

The bed picture is to show off the architecture I love-- but yes, thanks my bed is rumpled! There is an old screen covered with graphic black and white Ikea fabric that divides the living room and bed not in the shot. Next year! Thanks so much for your comments.
