We rocked my son in the same antique rocker! Amazing to see it here. Love the upholstered cushion.

Ours was my great grandmother's. Squeaky, but it was lovely to think that so many generations of my family's babies had been rocked in it.

I really wanted that KidKraft toddler bed, but I read several reviews that suggested that the quality was not so good.

We finally went with the twin-sized TROMSO daybed for hundred bucks. Very easy to put together and seems very sturdy.

I can't believe they forgot Freepeats.org! It's in about 20 major cities around the country. Parents pass on gently-used baby, kid and maternity items to other local families (who pick them up for free).

I have one in the same color, too! Found it pre-Wondertime at my local thrift store-- two bucks! We use it as a booster seat (strapped to the chair of course).

A few frugal ideas: Consignment stores are great places to find baby monitors for around $5. This is consignment sale season (we have almost a hundred in our area this month!) and you might try looking for a baby monitor there. Or check to see if there's a free one at Freepeats.org or your local Freecycle group.

Target and other retailers carry a similar line for much less:--though that Overstock discount is pretty wallet-friendly!

With all the new wall treatment stuff out there, I'm surprised somebody hasn't made something you just stick on the wall and then paint.

I think I need the Lego wall. Does anyone have any info on it? Google turns up nada.
