My experience with the sheepskin thows is that it attracts and traps all kinds of allergens. We could not figure out why my daughter had such horrible allergies, and when we removed the sheepskin from her bed they subsided dramatically. On the floor as a rug is OK, but when you wash it it turns stiff as a board and weaken it.

This is a reproduction of a poster that appeared all over England during World War II (citizens subjected to and killed by nightly bombing raids over London). So maybe boring to some, but as a reminder that when you think you are having a bad day, just remember nobody is dropping bombs on your house.

Pasadena City College is pretty good and it is free to get in. I think Long Beach is the best. Rose Bowl is too expensive to get in and I have found that many of my favorite dealers are no longer there. I think it is expensive for them as well.

Is there a way to run a strap across where is folds and tighten it in the back? You would need to buy some very narrow cotton or nylon webbing and some sort of metal or plastic buckle that you can tighten to the desired tension. If
the strap were narrow enough it would disappear into the fold.
From the picture, it looks like this might be possible, and that it could be disguised.

My understanding is that if you are going to use terra cotta tile that it should be well sealed because it is porous and will absorb stans that you will not be able to get out. If it is allowed to absorb too much moisture it will also flake when it dries out. Probably not ideal for a kitchen. Also hard on the legs and feet if you are standing for long periods.
