I think this is my favorite AT house tour ever! I especially love that it was all done over time, on a budget. It makes the whole space seem more thoughtful and inviting. Hannah Mike's Secondhand Success House Tour | Apartment Therapy Chicago |

These closets are fabulous! What I really need help with, though, is a long narrow closet in my daughters' room. It's the width of a regular interior door, but about 7'-8' feet deep. I'd love to maximize the space, but it just isn't wide enough to hang shelves like this. Anyone have any ideas? Inspiring Kids Closet Organization | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

I really love that reading nook! Where did you get the bench and cushions? It would be perfect for my daughter's room. My Room: HK Salt Lake City | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

My sister-in-law used the Tuckair bed while visiting us last fall for her 1.5 year old. I would NOT recommend this product at all. What you can't tell from the picture is that the outer "railing" inflates separately from the inner mattress part. The inner mattress kept deflating slightly from her son's weight (he's only around 15th percentile) and he kept rolling into the side railing which seemed to pose a potential suffocation hazard. She tried it for a couple nights and ended up returning it. Ten Travel Crib Bed Options | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

I'm getting rid of a ton of old clothing too. It's time to let it go and have an excuse to buy some better things for myself! Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | The Green Cure: Setting Your Intention Week 1 - Intro |

We always used an old backpack for my daughter. It worked really well (lots of pockets) and cost next to nothing. But I've never been much of a purse person to begin with. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Flickr Find: Mom and Dad Baby Bags |

Just putting in another vote for the full size KithchenAid. I use the mini bowl a lot but it's nice to have the larger bowl for pureeing soups. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Good Question: What Size Food Processor Should I Buy? |

This is the time of year I post up with new (or new to me) TV seasons and take up my knitting projects. It's the perfect time to work on an afghan or scarves for Christmas presents. All the beautifully textured and colored yarns are wonderful to work with. Apartment Therapy Chicago | Avoiding The Daylight Savings Time Blues |

We just completed a month long project of having a basement wall rebuilt and french drain installed along with refinishing the floors in the kitchen and painting the cabinets. We hadn't planned for the projects to line up timewise but it was just how it worked out with the contractors' schedules. Talk about a disaster area! We had an eight foot deep trench around the place for almost two weeks, not to mention having our house on jacks with one wall missing for a couple days. Thank god it's over! I was wondering if anyone could help me find this really nice sugar and cream holder. It is cylindrical and I believe white ceramic. The top has a place to hold the sugar so that when you pour the cream, the sugar bowl sort of swings in place and only cream comes out. It's a little hard to describe. I think it's by a Swedish designer. Anyway, I'm sure I found it on this site originally and now I can't find it again! Please let me know if you know where I can find this. Open Thread 62 |
