I personally love my Samsonite Xenon Laptop messenger bag. Business with just a touch of edge. Fits my 15" MacBook Pro like a glove:

I always enjoyed the old Oberweis Dairy jar that I once used - unfortunately it was always a pain to get the coins back out.

If only they would bring back the speaker stands. I still have the cement block stands that I bought so many years ago for my first post college apartment.

I'm not much of a Chef, but I made TWO great quiches last night, thanks in part to Epicurious.

You missed one of the best ones: Feedly
built on the Google Reader platform, it's available as plugin for Chrome and Firefox and as an app for the iPhone and iPad. It's very simple and clean and makes reading content as easy as reading the Red Eye on your morning commute (if you happen to live in Chicago).

I love the Ghanian mask speaker, but I'm not sure I understand how these make sense acoustically (unless these speakers are subwoofers). Shouldn't the drivers face toward the audience, instead of the floor?

Have been considering this. I've had bits of regret in buying the Apple TV 2 simply because I could access content from my NAS. I'm still trying to decide whether to make the jump to the Boxee Box.

What's missing from this article are average costs for each of these units. I'm guessing that these machines tend to be quite expensive for us mere mortals.

I'm trying to pare down the number of Photo Album's in the house. My girlfriend's mother has a digital camera, but still insist on printing every single picture - hence dozens of albums. I've finally convinced her that 1 or 2 digital photo frames in the house might be a good alternative... its all about baby steps. Next up, digitizing all of her undergrad papers (there are boxes & boxes).

I had my iPad delivered this weekend. While it does do many of the things the ipod touch does, the user experience is Soooo much better. The USA Today app almost looks like an actual newspaper, yet the news, sports, and weather are so much fresher. The GQ app is almost like the actual magazine, except that I can link directly from the ads to a product's website. I can catch up on ABC programs while cooking chicken on the Foreman in my kitchen - on screen that doesn't make me squint, no less. There are lots of positives and I'm not seeing many negatives so far (other than there are not enough iPad ready apps just yet).

Kinda Cool, but I think a user could save $400 by buying a 15" monitor from NewEgg.

Just a note with Google voice - you actually do need to have some sort of phone connected to make and receive phone calls through your Google voice number. If you don't use the phone very much, or do most of your "conversating" while at the office, you might be fine without a phone or with a prepaid plan, but considering that my mom now calls me via Google voice (she loves to talk), I find it best to have at least a dedicated cell phone plan (like my iPhone). Also noteworthy is the fact that Google voice can also manage SMS text messages, allowing all received messages to go to your GMail account, which in turn, allows to you to choose a limited (if necessary) text message plan for your iPhone account. Boo Yah.

I'm not a professional DJ by any stretch of the animation, but I had a chance to play with the M-Audio Torq Xponent which turned out to be an interesting experience. The included software software was pretty intuitive and I can only imagine what you'd be able to do with a combination of decent digital mixer and a touchscreen computer.

Very nice remodel and the price tag is amazing. Love the new stand-up shower, but not sure I can get behind the look of the OSB material used for the vanity.
