That first one looks great! I did some with my kids last year and we all had a blast. Check it out on my blog, Sue at Home: Garden Pot Decoration Projects for Kids |

Hi Dulcibella, If you mean the white consoles, they're from CB2. It's called the Chill Media Console. We have 2 of them. They're great - the drawers are so cheap! Check out more at my blog: SueAtHome.com Sue's "Laid-Back Cool" Room Room for Color Contest |

I love interesting color combos! Olatz Schnabel's bedroom--the aqua and red one pictured here--inspired my master bedroom makeover. Read about it on my blog: Sueathome.com 10 Unusual Color Combos That Really Work |

I hear you! I spent several months non-stop on a kitchen renovation and I have yet to photograph it and post it on my blog because I have some patches to sand and paint in spots where the electrician needed to cut into the wall. I absolutely love the Tom Dixon ones but I feel like he gets a lot of the credit that belongs to Roberto Menghi who designed the Globo di Luce pendant back in 1968. (Check it out at dwr.com). I didn't know anything about him until I picked up 2 shells of old pendants (no lights, just the globe) at the DWR outlet in Secaucus NJ for $20 each! Still haven't decided what to do with them. Might just hang them on the wall as art. Love at First Light: Cool Copper Orb Light Fixture |

My mother-in-law welcomed our newborn daughter at our one-bedroom apartment with a porcelain tea set and an enormous Mickey Mouse snowglobe. I said thanks and both remained in a closet for awhile until I gave them to Goodwill. I try to stop both of them (my mom is a little more respectful of my wishes though she tends to get the biggest gifts she can find) but I think you've got to put your foot down. Especially you abbygraykit! You're a grown-up. You shouldn't have to decorate your house with things you don't want in it. How Do You Help Keep Gift Giving Grandparents At Bay? Reader Survey |

I have it and love it. In addition to putting drinks (and my laptop and a remote control) on it all the time, my kids feel the need to put their toys all over it. Sure - it doesn't look as perfect as it was but I can barely see the scratches. Thoughts On CB2 Peekaboo Clear Coffee Table? Good Questions |

Gorgeous - love it all. The pictures really show how a simple sofa and chair can look amazing with the right accents. Question - what is that white wall buffet/cabinet that's in your dining room? I love it. Evolution of an Accent Wall |

We're moving next week (nice timing, right?!) so I filled a few moving boxes and taped them up! I'm so thrilled with my genius solution that I'm going to do it every year. I wish my mom had been as slick because then I wouldn't have had to fake being surprised about the awesome Swatch she got me in high school. (What? No credit on the pillow? For anyone wondering, it's Alexandra Ferguson (http://www.etsy.com/listing/55600043/stud-14x18inch-recycled-felt-applique). No, I don't work for her - just a fan of her work. Polly - please tell me where you found that great pink slipcover! I'd like to repurpose my still-comfy but tattered taupe (boring!) sofa for my daughters' playroom and I can't find any brightly colored slipcovers. Love your room! Polly's "Kaleidescope Blue & Fuchsia" Room |
