Nay. my daughter isn't into Legos anyway (she is 4) even though we went to LegoLand & bought her this great starter kit with pink Legos. I loved playing with my Lego sets when I was growing up and never once thought there should be pink blocks or more "girl" sets. Your kid is going to like whatever they want regardless of what you give them. Disney Princesses has somehow entered into our household 2 years ago and it hasn't stopped. If it makes her happy then why take it away. LEGO Friends: Yay or Nay? |

My 4 year old daughter wanted a bull head for her room. Then I read her Thidwick the Big Hearted Moose. I think that changed her mind. On Trend: Animal Heads in Kids Rooms |

My daughter is almost 4 and we bought her the Calico Critter house when she was 2. I really wanted to buy her the Plan Toy Modern house (mostly for my aesthetics) but she would always head to the Calico Critter's house at the toy store near us. I would try many times to have her "play" with the wooden one but just didn't like the furniture. It was bulky and not "real" looking. The Calico Critters have some amazing looking furniture sets that are too cute not to play with them. Unfortunately, it comes with the most tiniest accessories which I have packed away for when she is old enough to play with. I also bought her some Critters to go with the house. She has not touched them till this day. She loves using her Disney princesses, random figurines, old Little People pieces, etc. Your girls will use anything in their dollhouse so it doesn't have to be perfect. So long there are some furniture pieces they will be happy. You can always add more pieces later. Sources for Interesting Dollhouse People Good Questions |

We love Nutella in our house. My little girl loves it but we only let her have it about 1-2 times a month. There is nothing wrong with it once in awhile and if you pair it some fruits, whole wheat toast and milk, it is a balanced meal. Plus, there are many people who start their days with a very large mocha. Just saying. Chocolate For Breakfast: Inviting or Overly-Indulgent? |

House looks great. Furniture is great, but I really don't see how photos of cutting food, nuts and pea in bowls, jewelery up close makes it a house tour. Perhaps I should take "artsy" photos of my "stuff" and call it a house tour. Sorry for being harsh, just my opinion. Overall, the place looks great and admire the Danish taste. Bought these a couple of years ago thinking I would make cute boiled egg figures. They never came out looking right. Must be doing them wrong. We use these for playdoh molds. :( Kotobuki Plastic Egg Molds |

I don't like eating hard as rocks bread so this is a great tip. My tip to prevent your bread from getting hard and staying soft for a few more days, don't keep it in the paper bag. Take it out and wrap it in plastic. How To Soften Hard Bread |

So, I just made this dish and ate two bowlsful. It was good but it was missing something. Next time I'm going to add some veggies like carrots and soy beans. Maybe sauté some onions on the side and throw them in when the rice is done. Overall, easy recipe that was good and adaptable. We love our Tripp Trapp! Yes, this chair is pricey but will last you for a long time. If you do buy a high chair, what will you do with it later? My three year old daughter loves her chair and has been using it since 6 months old. We have been able to change the seat settings to fit her as she grows and ultimately it will be a regular chair. We are considering buying another one since we have a new addition. I agree that the straps aren't great and when our daughter was 6 months in it we had to place towels around her so she won't slump over. I have nothing against high chairs but don't like waste. I want to stretch things out as long as I can. The chair is pretty strong, I've sat and stood on it many times. My daughter can even climb up on the chair to seat herself. That's my two cents. I love Little People! I still have the garage set that is seen on the site, the original. The box itself has worn down over time but the garage is in great condition. I just recently handed down to my 16 month old the Fisher-Price Sesame Street Playhouse. It too is in great condition (that's 30 years!). My daughter loves it! I have to thank my parents for holding on to these treasures. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Fisher-Price's Little People Turn 50 |
