I rinse, shake and then wrap my parsely and cilantro in paper towels and put in a plastic produce bag. This keep it fresh for a week. After using fresh ginger I place it in a small zip bag and put it in the freezer. It's always there when you need it. Parchment paper, really helps with clean up. I also have the nesting pyrex bowls, they're great. I received them from my mother-in-law, she got them for a wedding present, 60 years ago. I have a really small TV tucked under the cabinets over my sink and I LOVE IT !!! I don't have it on all the time but it's good company when I'm alone and spending a lot of time in there. I recently covered my sofa pillows, using the old pillows and just covering them. I'm not too thrilled with the fabric I chose, but Wal Mart is the only source in my little town. I've looked on line for fabric, but oh my are they expensive. Does anyone know of a good source on line that won't break the bank? Also, I'm with EvaInNL, I would love to make a day bed for my guest room, which right now is just my junk room. How about it Shelly? You go BambiJo!! Sounds like you have pretty much the same types of projects going as I do. I really, I mean REALLY, need to get busy and get things done. I want to get busy with the painting but need to wait until the weather warms up so the windows can be opened. I've been thinking all white walls and lots of pops of color, I think I'm afraid of color on the walls. Hmmm.. we'll see.
