Just got back from World Market & we ordered the Chase Storage Bed (in medium brown, not white)! It's a great size & will work perfectly. Thanks for this post - this just solved an almost 5 year problem in one morning!

Not my style at all, but I the overall effect is really well done. And that chair is *amazing*. Way to represent Columbus OH in style!

It looks nice, and while I agree that I don't like vessel sinks, my issue is that this is called "Ines's DIY Vessel Sink" & then she had someone else turn a vintagey wash basin & stand into a sink. That's not DIY, that's "how to find someone to help you make a wash basin into a vessel sink".

and thanks for showing that amazing style isn't limited to big cities! Ohio pride!!

another request for that charcoaly gray paint color, please!

also, in this era of home staging & the like, I think this really is a before & after. most people can't see the potential in a location unless it is set up in their own style. this lady obviously saw past the outdated furniture, wallpaper, etc and instead saw what she could do to make it what she wanted it to be. and she did a fantastic job!

also - that red rug is astounding. love it! and also curious abt the big wooden card catalog- like piece that created the seating nook in the living room. was it inherited or found? either way, it's amazing.

super amazing!! I love how it has Japanese touches, but doesn't look forced, as in "I'm living in Japan so here is my Japanese apartment!". and it looks *huge* which is quite an accomplishment. totally excellent!

that looks fantastic! and I love that you can replace the legs, that is a great idea/tip. has anyone done this with IKEA dressers/tables? just wondering

we have the Corona from Macy's and I'd have to say it STINKS. It feels like it's sinking at the bottom, and it's only a year old! granted we have 2 kids, so maybe that's not helping, but overall I wouldn't recommend a Macy's sofa.
