love love love carpano. Totally agree with @amineh11, it is fantastic in a blood and sand. I frequently will drink it on the rocks with an orange or lemon peel. There is the fancy vermouth cocktail (the actual name) which is so simple and lovely with carpano. I learned it from the owner of my neighborhood cocktail shop. This blog has a description of it. http://www.raisedspirits.com/2010/11/mixology-monday-mxmo-lii-fancy-vermouth.html Vermouth To Sip Alone: Carpano Antica |

Cherry Heering is delicious in a Blood and Sand: equal parts Cherry Heering, Scotch, Orange Juice, and Sweet Vermouth. Also the Haitian Witch is tasty: 2 oz Haitian Rum (Barbancourt 15 Year), 3/4 oz Lime Juice, 1/2 oz Cherry Heering, 1/4 oz Simple Syrup (Demerara preferable), 1 dash Peychaud's Bitters.
