if xanthan gum is made of lactose, it's not vegan or dairy free then, right? I'm not vegan so I haven't paid attention, but I have been wanting to make coconut ice cream for a diary free friend.

Just wondering about the pegboard back splash. My experience with pegboard is that if gets wet it expands and swells like paper. seems like a bad deal behind the sink. super cute, though.

Pepsid AC totally works. And not that wikipedia is a reliable source, but here's one explanation of why it happens http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_flush_reaction. Personally, I find no correlation between redness and drunkeness, and when I'm no longer red, that usually means I drank waaaay too much. I've also found that having some food in my stomach helps reduce the redness.
My mom seems to have grown out of it in her 50's, so I guess that's good? And now that I'm a mom, it seems like it will be a good thing when my pre-schooler becomes a teenager.

Love this hook. I second the recommend. It can be tough sometimes to keep the arms in the right spot as you're putting the stroller up, and sometimes the sunshade gets hooked instead of the handles, but this is great to keep the stroller out of the way.

We borrowed a stroller for my 6 month old from a Parisian friend, and it was a simple umbrella stroller. My parents took her on the metro just find, but my friend in Paris said that most people with strollers took the bus. A number of times, my dad got ushered to the front of lines because of a baby. People were very helpful and friendly.

The biggest problem I had with a montessori type bed when my daughter was 6 months old was that she rolled off and in the morning we'd find her halfway under the dresser. After a bit, we switched to a mini crib, but when she was older, we let her nap on the floor quite frequently.

I find raw spinach leaves my teeth feeling hairy. But maybe it's just me. I've recently come to adore creamed spinach.

As soon as I know it works and I'm keeping it, boxes are gone. If in the unlikely event it's defective or needs servicing, I'd rather just find a new box. Usually for servicing or returns, the manufacturer doesn't seem to require the original packaging.

My daughter is 2 and we still sometimes use our flexi-bath and it takes up no room. It uses less water and when we haven't cleaned the tub in a while, makes for a less gross option.
And we live in a tiny apt, but use our monitor to hang out at our neighbors' downstairs after bed time or during naps.

I HATED my My Breast Friend. It took up so much room and was never that comfortable. A couple of couch pillows was all I needed.

I ended up using a manual pump at work, and only used my avent duo when I was traveling for more than 2 days on the road. It mostly took up a bunch of space and with my computer, the pump, and then picking up the kid from daycare, my arms were too overloaded to get home. The manual was super compact. But then again, I was a full on dairy cow.
