if xanthan gum is made of lactose, it's not vegan or dairy free then, right? I'm not vegan so I haven't paid attention, but I have been wanting to make coconut ice cream for a diary free friend. Xanthan Gum in Ice Cream: Good or Bad? |

I would love to see these in an airport to charge up during layovers. It would be such a great stretch after sitting on a plane for hours and a great way to burn off airport food. WeBike: Bringing Biking & Charging to the Office |

Just wondering about the pegboard back splash. My experience with pegboard is that if gets wet it expands and swells like paper. seems like a bad deal behind the sink. super cute, though. 10 Pegboards in the Kitchen |

I'm sure everyone will have comments on specific names, but I have such a hard time with Scarlett. While there are plenty on the list that are fine, pretty or annoying, this one just gets a visceral reaction from me. It seems both overly adult for a child and extremely juvenile for an adult. I just have such strong associations with someone being so petulant and over dramatic. 2011's Most Popular Baby Names |

Pepsid AC totally works. And not that wikipedia is a reliable source, but here's one explanation of why it happens http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_flush_reaction. Personally, I find no correlation between redness and drunkeness, and when I'm no longer red, that usually means I drank waaaay too much. I've also found that having some food in my stomach helps reduce the redness. Asian Flush: Why I Turn Red When I Drink Alcohol |

The soda stream is awesome and all, but I really wouldn't consider it "lifetime" like a cast iron dutch oven or a great knife. If you use it a lot, you're committing to buy at least a couple of these in your lifetime, whereas you'll hand your dutch oven down to your grand kids. Love this hook. I second the recommend. It can be tough sometimes to keep the arms in the right spot as you're putting the stroller up, and sometimes the sunshade gets hooked instead of the handles, but this is great to keep the stroller out of the way. StrollAway by MetroTots Test Lab |

Can you supplement this post with the adjusted baking times depending on material? I find that for my bundt cakes in silicone pans, I need to take 5-10 minutes off the baking time to prevent burning. Metal, Glass, Ceramic, or Silicone Pans: When To Use Each |

We borrowed a stroller for my 6 month old from a Parisian friend, and it was a simple umbrella stroller. My parents took her on the metro just find, but my friend in Paris said that most people with strollers took the bus. A number of times, my dad got ushered to the front of lines because of a baby. People were very helpful and friendly. Help My Family with Toddling around Paris? Good Questions |

The biggest problem I had with a montessori type bed when my daughter was 6 months old was that she rolled off and in the morning we'd find her halfway under the dresser. After a bit, we switched to a mini crib, but when she was older, we let her nap on the floor quite frequently. Montessori Floor Bed Logistics? Good Questions |

I've found this to be not at all dishwasher safe. Even hand washing, when I've done this, the paint slides and bubbles around. I even sanded under where I painted and it didn't stick nicely. DIY Chalkboard Glass Container Labels Instructables |

As soon as I know it works and I'm keeping it, boxes are gone. If in the unlikely event it's defective or needs servicing, I'd rather just find a new box.
