I will twelfth the Pepcid AC recommendation. Unfortunately I had to learn this from my little sister and totally missed knowing this through high school and college. I'll also let you know that it seems to decrease over time. My mom seems to have outgrown it. You might also monitor if there are any food/drink combinations that help.
Strangely, though, Asian sunburn is no indication of drunkeness in me. the real problems start happening when the flush has subsided. That means I've had waay to much to drink.

A total dump one block up from Pleasure Point in Santa Cruz. Grass was growing through the walls, but I could easily justify getting in the water for 20 minutes because I was so close.

Oh, and food that can be held and eaten with one hand is super helpful (as opposed to say, soup where you might spill blazing hot liquid all over your newborn).

OurGroceries is great. I got sick of my husband saying "we're out of ..." and expecting me to remember, so he now just adds it to the list.

I can never seem to find one that looks as lovely as these and has the strap in the back to slip over my wheely luggage. Lugging laptops in the airport stinks.

I hate designed trees like some people hate the karate chopped pillow. That being said, my sister does a hilarious tree every year. One year was doll heads, another year it was circus themed.

When we were kids we used to hide this horribly ugly ornament in the back of the tree every year, but a few years ago when we went home and looked for the ornament, we were both devastated that my parents had thrown out the ornament. It would have been the one thing we fought over when my parents eventually pass.

So I embrace the odd, eclectic, full of memory trees. As for the rest of the decor, design away.

I wanted one of these so bad as a little girl. I'm really tempted to get it for my daughter so I can play with it. This and a remote control car were things I asked for year after year, but never received.

A chef friend and food safety nut always stressed to buy kitchen items with as few seams as possible in order to keep things clean and make them last as long as possible. Stainless items are particularly good for this. I try to follow his rule whenever possible, and it hasn't failed me yet. the stuff that always breaks has plastic handles or weird rivets.

Definitely! It takes the kale from being crunchy and bitter to soft and infused with the dressing. I'm less likely to do it with lacianto kale than other types, though.
