Only if it's Halloween and you're dressing your newborn up as Minnie Mouse.

When I saw these toys in Target the other day, I immediately snatched up the phone and the music box teaching clock (I don't have kids of my own, but I was babysitting last week, so I found it to be a good excuse).... and to be honest, I was really disappointed. My memory of the original toys that I owned as a child was that they were made out of some sort of heavy cardboard or wood material. The new versions I bought were made entirely out of plastic with stickers on the sides which do not appear to be stuck on very well on the sides, they're already being to fray and in some spots, weren't very well put on (air bubble bumps and such). I guess they were okay, the little kid I sat for liked playing with them, but I was expecting a much different quality of toy that I got....

Back when I was a Windows user, I used Avast. It was free for home users and relatively inexpensive for business use.

First thoughts... Ummm... Hmmm.... If I actually wanted that for my living room, I could probably make it myself for far far far less than $120.

What about lukewarm? I know as a little girl I would have LOVED to have had something like that... but at the same time, I see it as being a bit overindulgent and probably somewhere where hornets and wasps would probably think would be a good home as well.... thus making the kid afraid of it.

Sounds like a good present for the MIL.

Growing up, I remember my father reading all the time, my mother not so much.... but they away read to me until I could read myself. As a kid, I read a lot because that was the thing to do.... and when I was in the first half of college I read a ton because it was something to pass time between classes doing.

As a working adult, I find it harder to read on regular basis. Especially when reading is competing with other things I enjoy doing.... like knitting.

I have the same skillet. I was lucky, all I had to do was endure a year working in a kitchen store, and I got one as a bonus. Score!

I have the Olevia 37" 237T, which I've had for about three months now. Originally, we were going to hold off on upgrading, but Target had a sale where the TV was $100 off, so we bought one. It's not the highest resolution, but it was affordable.

I'm still not sure what I feel about the DS Browser... I bought it more for the novelty than anything else. I think it's useful as something you can just whip out quickly to test to see if an area has a wifi connection, rather than dragging out an entire laptop to find out it doesn't....

I'm another who would have answered both had the option been given.... because I have accounts on both and visit both regularly, though I tend to frequent Facebook more than MySpace.

I'd say this is a hot... I was on the fence at first because I didn't like the color, but then after surfing back through about six blogs to the original reference, I see that they come in other push-pinny colors like blue, orange and clear as well as the lime shown... and I'm a big fan of the blue, so thumbs up to the push pin.

I might put that in my dining room.... but that's a little bit much for a baby's room!

My dad's not a technical sort of guy... so he'll probably be getting a power tool or something like that... but I did snag up one of those nifty clocks for myself, thanks for the tip! ;)

I don't know much about dyeing, but I know a fair amount of knitters who dye yarn and a brand that I've seen fairly frequently through them is Jacquard.

Wow... That's... really loud. I think my opinion of this is one is it's an apartment I might want to visit, but I'm not sure I'd want to live there.

The only drawback to Flock is it's based off of Firefox 1.5, and the spell checking functionality wasn't implemented till Firefox 2.0.... which, to be honest, is the only reason I still use Firefox over Flock.
