I really wanted to love the Tidycat Breeze (Has a pad for urine and litter pellets for feces) but I could smell the urine. Also, it kind of grossed me out to have a pad of pee sitting there for a week. I have agree with those that say the best litter is the one that is scooped and changed often (unfortunately). I know this isn't the point of the article but just having an oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer is kind of amazing if you think about it. Even though I have newish bottom of the line of all of these things they really are life changing. I think we forget sometimes how easy we have it living in the first world. I used to be a huge fan of the dishwasher until my state no longer sold detergent with phosphates. Since then, glasses get cloudy and dishes don't get clean unless every bit of food is washed off before putting them in the dishwasher. I pretty much just hand wash now. I agree about pushing the washer and dryer together and getting a piece of wood to put across the top. In addition to this I think a "sink skirt" would look nice. If you use clip on curtain rings the skirt is really easy to move when you need the dryer. If you don't have too much fullness with the skirt it doesn't seem to get in the way. I have a similiar situation in my condo and this works out pretty well. Also, the work surface with the wooden board is the perfect height for wrapping presents (I'm 5' 3") How To Hide Washer & Dryer in Cute Rental Kitchen? Good Questions |
