Hi everyone, thanks for the comments! As far as where I sleep...my bed is just opposite the couch. There are a ton more photos of my apartment here, including some more recent ones:

So, you can get an idea from those pictures where I sleep, and eat, etc...

As far as the curtain/bathroom door, it was a necessity and I actually really love it that way - otherwise the bathroom door literally takes up my entire kitchen - it's that small. When people come over to my place for the first time they're usually a little bit surprised, but then I usually get, "Wow, that's a good idea," and then they're over it. My friends are pretty easy-going that way. :)

I found that shower curtain at Target a while back, but I don't think it's still available...
