I too prefer to repurpose (the few) jars I purchase. I use Hellman's mayo jars -- they are the same size with the same color lids, and look great in the pantry. The lids are flat, so I am able to stack them. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Best Jars to Organize Your Pantry The Kitchen Cure Spring 2009 |

I bought this lid rack years ago, probably my best $3 purchase ever! LOL Like Marie-Eve, I screwed it inside the cupboard door where I keep the pots. The pots stack better with out their lids, and my pot cupboard stays organized. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Kitchen Cure Update: New Pot Lid Rack and Better Storage The Kitchen Cure Spring 2009 |

I use olive oil to remove the adhesive from the jars. Adhesive removers can be purchased also. As far as odour, I haven't had a problem -- I wash out the jars then fill them again with hot soapy water, then rinse them out a few days later. This is a great idea and never thought of it (could have use it this week! LOL). I also like the ideas of creating this on a white board. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Kitchen Cure Download: Eat This! Grocery Reminder The Kitchen Cure Spring 2009 |

I live in an 1100 sqft condo, I am very organized, but space is still an issue. I love to cook and bake, and entertain often, and would like storage ideas for extra cutlery sets, large serving platters (that are too deep for the cupboards), and various dinner plates and drinkware.
