Somebody give a hand to the grand old dame with the excellent bone structure who, silently and non-intrusively offers a backdrop to all this fun - the house itself - there you go, a good round of applause for older Hollywood homes, and a Yay for LA. Personally I like the short-sleeved buttondown moustache because he reminds me of another erstwhile god, Freddie Mercury.
But for all of you who think that shaming @Haruki for his or her naivete is cool, it isn't. Instead of cracking jokes, either explain what you mean or don't post. No need to make someone you likely don't even know feel bad.
Anyway, super fun. I'd hang out in a heartbeat. Wanted to see more exteriors.

These are horrible! The set designers of the actual shows should be very proud of themselves because the "professionals" are clearly off (or on) something. They're all ugly, except for maybe the roof which we didn't see much of. So yeah, 1) well, it's for charity, and 2) this is definitely how not to decorate. Yuck.

OK, where did you get that license plate? Was it yours? Has it been retired from the CA DMV? It's brilliant. I want to apply for it.

Yes, the stripy vase! Please tell us more about the stripy vase!
OK, a little rant here - people who pay so much attention to the tiniest detail in their living spaces, why can't you pay any attention to the details of your spelling? Maxwell does it - in the intro to this apartment he writes "when it comes to designing his home (and his clients spaces)..." and we're left wondering - does F have many clients (clients') or just the one (client's)? Or if we look at the comment from Limeliteshines, who writes "I love every room. Each has it's own feel that differs slightly from the next . . . but it's still all cohesive." Do you see the difference in meaning between the two "it's"s that you used in the same sentence? I'm sure you've heard this before: if you can break it up into two words, as in "it is", and the phrase still makes sense, then you can use the "it's". If you can't (as in, "each has it is own feel", which clearly is not what you meant), it is one cohesive, yes, cohesive unit, and does not take the apostrophe: "its", in all its glory.

Awesome job, Scott. I love the fireplace in the bathroom, and the separate shower and bath, so luxurious! I live in a small space and indeed yours looks much larger than a mere 450sf. I think it may have something to do with good placement of the doors - my front door opens in the middle of the main wall of my apartment which makes it difficult to deal with. But you really solved it all without depriving yourself of a real bed, or a real sofa. Lovely lovely.
IMHO, the focal point is definitely Ella. I love you, Ella.
