I've been dreaming of John Robshaw curtains for the bedroom in our new apartment, but they're a bit expensive. Instead, I found yards of discounted silk organza that I'd love to make into sheers - only I have no sewing machine! I would put this Singer to good use for sure... and then submit my before/after to Apartment Therapy, of course. We just moved into a new apartment and have been completely banned from painting. The horror!
