Oops, I forgot to add that delivery is included in the price, and the smallest boxes start at just $27/box, plus you can opt for every-other-week delivery or pause it if you're going out of town. I swear I don't work for them, just wanted to share this great service! Are You Joining a Farm CSA This Year? |

Door to Door Organics is a great alternative for those who have in their areas (check out their website for delivery locations). They offer the flexibility that many CSA's don't, plus you can choose the "local" box during the summer growing season to still ensure you're eating local produce. The best part is you can customize the box size, fruits/veggies mix, and even sub out foods you don't like for alternatives (at no additional cost). Are You Joining a Farm CSA This Year? |

I agree that foil baking cups could accomplish the same purpose, as could silicone baking cups, which are reusable, flexible, and easy to clean. They also can be stacked for a much smaller storage footprint than a muffin tin. Making Cupcakes or Muffins with Mason Jar Rings: Does It Really Work? |

Homemade cakes for birthdays (everyone had a favorite kind), and otherwise only in-season fruit and homemade vanilla whipped cream. I had very limited exposure to sugar growing up, so now I can barely tolerate dessert at restaurants. Too sweet and rich for me! What Desserts Did You Grow Up With? Reader Discussion |

Does anyone have any recommendations for a plastic-free (ideally glass/metal) water pitcher with lid? We are currently using Binchotan charcoal sticks in a 1 liter widemouth glass bottle, but since the top is open, the water sometimes absorbs some of the fridge odors.
