Renata -- Wow, you might have just helped me solve one of my dilemmas. I love coffee, but have noticed that on some occasions, it does not agree with me. I stopped making coffee at home, but am not wondering if it was the metal filter on my coffee maker or my french press. Here's to my hopeful coffee future...

Can anyone compare Swiss Diamond to All-Clad (besides non-stick vs. stainless)?

I bought a Swiss Diamond large saute pan - I nearly choked on the price, but am so happy I made the investment. It browns wonderfully without burning, and since it's non-stick, it's a dream to deglaze with and clean.

Most of the hotels I've stayed at in London have those keycard-operated lights. The first time I walked in the room I became outraged that I couldn't turn the bathroom lights on. Finally after almost playing the "dumb American" card at the front desk, I noticed the card reader by the door. Good idea, bad usability.

Being a midwesterner, I was just introduced to Bougainvilleas last week while visiting the Getty Center in LA. They have Bougainvilleas caged inside some very interesting rebar trellis fountains (scroll down three pictures from the bottom). I've been inspired to duplicate the same rebar trellis in my backyard, with a different native flowering plant.

I'm one of the 56.7%, but unfortunately our laundry room is the dumping ground of the house -- basically everything that's on it's way to the attic, garage, or charity ends up there. Plus, being in an area prone to flooding, we have a nasty sump-pump in a corner w/ ugly piping. I'd love to see some realistic high-falutin' ideas to help me get back into favor with the mrs.

Jon_B and jimcrosley -- thanks so much for the suggestions! If either of you know of other skate decor, I'd love to get a heads-up... trying to trick out my son's room.

I have a stupid question -- on the IKEA site they are listed as "quilt covers" -- is that the same thing as a duvet cover?

*walks away feeling dumb* ;-)

My son and I have been talking about doing this in his room for a while. Any tips on how to mount skateboards on the wall without seeing (much of) the mount?
