I saw this idea linked up on homepodge yesterday. Such a fantastic reuse! I love it

There was a debate on homepodge a little while ago about whether or not she should paint the wall. I'm glad she decided not to. I looks amazing unfinished.

I saw this on homepodge awhile ago. I love that she used rope to connect the slats so you can just roll it up and hide it when winter is through. Really fabulous idea.

I saw this on homepodge a few days ago. It really is amazing, but I wonder how well it will hold up. It seems like it might be prone to shedding or coming untaped.

I made my island out of two stock cabinets, some beadboard, molding, and an Ikea butcher block counter top. I love it! It wasn't very expensive and I can take it with me when I move (I'm just renting). Here's a post about it on How I DIY. I didn't think to take pictures while I was building it, but this is still a pretty good how-to. It wasn't very difficult to build at all.

I'm the biggest procrastinator when it comes to projects! I start things, get in over my head, and then stop halfway through.

I recently started posting some of my projects on howidiy.com, hoping that it would encourage me to finish things. But yeah... still not going so well. I just need to get in there and ignore the possibility that things may not turn out as perfectly as planned.

My projects may look great so far... but if they're not finished that really doesn't matter.
