You nailed it with your comment about the "torchiere style lamp in the corner that leans to one side." Never understood why people would keep those things around EVEN when they were students.

Wow, hate dogs much? People who love their pets are not annoying. People who insult people who love their pets are the ones who are annoying, to say the least.

It's on here because anyone with a modicum of style shares his/her home with a dog (or cat), that's why!

I have ceramic tile in both the kitchen and bathroom and I love the look of it. My building was built in the late 40s so it was par for the course, I suppose. If you ask me, tile looks a hell of a lot better than that tacky Home Depot speckled granite countertop look I see everywhere.

Some interesting pieces but the art is hung much too high! All of it needs to come down quite a bit (especially the pieces above the furniture). It would do a lot to improve the overall energy of the space.

My two Pomeranians sleep in my bed with me and I wouldn't have it any other way. When I had cats, they did as well. Nothing is better than waking up to my Sonny and Ruby's sweet, happy faces in the morning.

Is it me or are all the paintings and mirrors hung too high?
