Anyone know where those picture ledges are from? They're great! So minimal and modern.

I have to agree, e15 furniture is beautiful -- but why must it cost so much? If I'm not mistaken, I think those dining tables easily start at the $8000 range, and many go up well into the $10-20K range or more.

A similar and equally nice table can easily be found for much less from one of my favorite designers, Gus*:

Wow, i love this space!

Two questions:

1) Where is that floating wall mounted dressing table/shelf from? It looks great!

2) Where is the green hallway console table from? I've been looking for something like that (skinny, with only the front table legs) forever...

Thank you G&D! I couldn't have said it better myself.

I don't understand the hostility from so many ATers every time a photo is shown that does not use a vibrant colour. Even though my personal taste is different from that of the photo shown, I still think that it is a beautiful room.

Maybe the B2C Comet table from EQ3:

The Carter Sofa is great, especially in the Urbantweed Potash fabric. You can't really tell from the swatches online, but if you see it in store it looks amazing!

It's probably a custom design by Stylegarage (which is basically Gus):

I'd love to know where those chairs are from too!

I just bought a white Modernica one on sale a few weeks ago, and it arrived today. Before purchasing, I had the exact same question in mind. The Herman Miller one does look nice, but up close it almost looks too stark (not sure if that's the right word?)

In any case, what really sold me on the Modernica ones were that they are available with a walnut base -- the white chair walnut base is an AMAZING combo! Much nicer than the maple runners, but that's just my opinion...

The note card chandelier is really nice, but pricey!!

I just found this which looks AMAZING (imho):

Only problem is... it lists for $2850 (if i'm reading the price list correctly).

Now i'm thinking... maybe I can source a local millworker in Toronto who can make this for me? :)

Olya: Thanks for the EQ3 suggestion... i was there a few days ago, but unfortunately they didn't have any tables that were slim enough. Nice stuff though!

kelton: "how aboot room and boord, eh?" -- good one :)

I'm looking for exactly the same thing! But on a budget... that DWR table is nice, but I don't know if it's $600 nice.

Michael, that Room&Board table you suggested looks perfect!

Does anyone know where something I could get something similar in Canada?

Woohoo, fellow Torontonian! There really should be an apartment therapy: toronto, huh?

Anyway, it's already a given that this place is awesome, so really, I don't think I can add anymore to that :)

My questions about the plants in the first picture. In the back two corners, there's the tall 'tree', with the spikes, and the other one with giant fat leaves in the other corner. I love 'em both, and have been looking for them for a while, but don't know what they are called. Anyone?

And ChrisToronto, if you're out there, where did you get them (in Toronto)?

I need help with colour!

I have a sofa ("Carter Sofa") in a dark grey (swatch)

and these chairs that I got on sale that I couldn't pass up:
(Oliver Chairs) The colour for the chairs is: ("Herringbone Mink")

I am planning on putting them together in the living room... but is there some way I can get these colours to match? They look somewhat off side by side, but I was wondering if I could somehow use pillows or throws to tie them in together?

I really like both the sofa and the chairs, so if there is a way to make them work together that would be great!
Thanks

This chair is $120 in Canada... but our dollar is on par with the US dollar now! :(

Does anyone know of a company in Toronto that does this? I wonder how much it would cost. It definitely looks amazing!

I was going to mention StyleGarage too, as urbanmark mentioned. It's only a few blocks away from me too... so we must be in the same neighbourhood! :)

I think Gus is a toronto based company, so mabe their stuff is a bit cheaper for us in Canada?

Good Questions: What Chairs Will Go With this Table?

If that's the Gus* table I think it is... you should definitely get the Oliver Chair to go with it. The Oliver Armchair has probably got to be one of my favourite chairs ever!
