I would make a scrolling display box for it. You could display it on a mantel and it would look like it was in the bus originally. Now and then change the destination. I think it would be neat to have a shallow knife cabinet, just deep enough for the magnet stripes. The door(s) could be treated to double as a chalk or white bored. That way the knives are easy to grab, no drawer worries, and you don't have to think about them until you want them. A funky little cabinet also makes a fun design feature.
