I second (third? fourth?) L'As du Falafel. Dreams. I'm lucky enough to visit Paris semi-regularly and must stop every time.

Also Crepes Dentelle

I don't even like savory crepes and this is still one of the best lunches I've ever had. Tiny dining room, the only beverage on offer is cider and the proprietress (?) only speaks french. But we all get by.

Visiting Paris! What Should I Eat, and Where Should I Go?
Good Questions

Somehow I developed the talent for not being able to work/eat at the same time. My brain starts to sulk and my mood will nose dive. I think its from working from years of school'n... meal times were the one time I never felt guilty procrastinating ("I mean if I didn't eat I'd die...").

So I guess its home for me. Which is weird, b/c the rest of my morning routine focuses on getting up as late as possible.

@ krunkinator if you watch the video she measures her counter top with a meter stick on camera. It is just under 36". I thought that was weird at first, but I guess it does help people understand just how tall 6"6 and that the image is an accurate representation of an average kitchen.

My friend made these for a Christmas party and they were amaaaazing. Especially with a cheddar/beer fondue dip. I'm definitely going to try it out.

Disregarding any specific cravings...

Garlic bread!

And on the nostalgic side, 'Velvetta shells & cheese'.

Plus all the chocolate you care to chuck at my mouth.

I also had a bit of trouble with the bread. Only two slices were really edible but my they were tasty. Tasty enough or another go. I used fresh ciabatta (slightly toasted before hand... needs must) & glass casserole dish (tiny chicken for tiny me in the tiny flat wasn't worth getting the huge roasting tin out).

Chicken was dee-vine.

That Ina Garten recipe sounds really good too.

This rub was delicious. Made it last week and fought seven days worth of cravings just to give in and make it again tonight.
