The dowel, 2x4 ideas are good ones. If you want something stronger, go to your hardware store and ask for a metal "charley bar" (although this may only work for sliding doors, you might be able to find something similar for your windows).

I loved the green one but I was told you can't remove the seat cover for washing. A big problem when the little poop machines do their thing. We have the Dwell Fisher Price bouncy seat from Target which also has the MP3 attachment and love it so far.

SOOO bad. But I kind of loved the CNN magic board.

My favorite is to cut up watermelon, fresh mint, top with balsamic glaze (just basalmic vinegar if that's what you have, my grocery store sells the glaze), and refrigerate so the tastes can really meld. Then I grill haloumi chunks on skewers and add it. You get hot and cold, salty and sweet, mint and acid. Yum!

Oops--meant to enter what I'd grow. Basil or cilantro--I have a bit of a black thumb and this system seems so easy to use.
