Thank god I married a man who loves anchovies too! We go through so many in our home that I skip the little tins and buy the huge glass jars of anchovies packed in oil.

This is my go to quick meal- I keep IQF meatballs in a bag in the freezer (I make them in huge batches, we go through a lot) frozen spinach and broth and make as much as I need for a quick meal by throwing it all in a pot to heat up while I boil water for a little pasta.

I had an apartment once that had floor-to-ceiling windows- and floor-to-ceiling powder blue vertical shades that the landlord would not allow us to remove. I made some very long mini curtains liek the ones used for staging to cover the ugly shades.

I've made Julia Child's baked cucumbers and they were fantastic- it's just too bad that it's often so hot when cucs are so plentiful.

The Grey Pillow cases are Nicole Miller circa 1998- I fall in love with them again every summer when we swap out our winter bedding, so I just keep using them.

The radiators were painted the same color as the walls before we moved in, and it's working out just fine. They work well and the paint isn't chipping or peeling one bit.

In our house (2 big boys dark wood floors) we roomba and swiffer all the time.

I sewed some doggy "duvet" covers for the dog beds, and we wash them weekly.

Keep a towel by the front door for wiping muddy paws before your big boy runs inside... and gets muddy paw prints everywhere.

Unfortunately I've never found a solution to to design/dog crate problem.
