Add the Tinkering Monkey Mosaic Tree to the list! It's a smaller, more angular version of the popular Buro Tree.

I run a small woodworking shop and studio near San Francisco called Tinkering Monkey. We don't do kitchen cabinets or anything of that scale, rather, we specialize in designing simple, high-quality goods for everyday living.

I have this knife and I LOVE IT. I do have to be careful with it - it's super sharp.

These tools are great. I have a similar wooden spatula, and I love it.

Another beautiful kitchen tool - a handmade, expandable wood trivet.

Great idea for small kitchens! I wonder if food still browns?

Huh. I think peanut butter on celery is already weird.

I'm sorry, that was harsh. I do like the concept, though, and I love some of the other work in your portfolio. Consider it just a personal opinion.

I let the heel of the bread get rock hard, then I give it to my rabbit to gnaw on (her teeth don't stop growing). I know, weird. But she loves it.

This is my favorite snack, ever. I usually choose purple yams over regular yams or sweet potatoes - they are just so good! I roast them, and eat them, skin and all.

A tip when buying them: Buy the smaller ones. They're sweeter.

@Laucus116: They turn even more purple when they're cooked!

That's awesome! I use her drop caps on my blog posts, and have gotten a lot of compliments on them. Wouldn't mind seeing them around the house, too. (I'm a type nerd)

That looks amazing. I will definitely be making that, along with the Pistachio Chorizo cake that @slow lorus mentioned. Yum!

That's a great idea. I don't have a slow cooker right now but maybe I'll get one at goodwill (people are always getting rid of 'em) so my house doesn't get too hot. Thanks!
