We're a 'no shoes', 'no smoking' house.
We live in so-cal.
We have a toddler who plays on the floor and I don't want him playing in lead dust, or feces.
It's hard enough to keep a home clean without the added worry of all the crap getting tracked in on shoes and then my son rolling around on it.
When we were younger we smoked inside and wore our shoes all over the place- but we weren't as concerned of our health or that of our carpets and it showed.
I really don't get the vehemence of the no shoes hating people...

Oh! This would help us out SOOOO much!
I've been thinking about some baskets to haul stuff from the living room back into my little ones room- This is SO much better! & another one for the days collection of shoes by the door!! Love the handles- Love everything about it!

We have an apartment washer by whirlpool- which hooks up to the sink faucet- We've started recycling this water for our sad lawn but it's been a HUGE pain. Started by hauling buckets and moved onto trash cans, but it's still QUITE a workout.
I've been thinking of ways to make this process easier. This gives me some more to think about...
BTW- we use phosphate free All free & clear & it's freakin' amazing how much water can be reclaimed from just one load!!!

Love tomatillos. I make Chile Verde (much like the above's pork stew). A great slow cooker recipe and comes out much fresher and delicious than anything I've ordered in a restaurant.

We bought the boon a year ago because it seemed like an attractive potty as well as it is a step stool. My son doesn't use it- He would rather sit on the big potty like mom and dad. I'm going to purchase the bjorn adjustable ring. Also the boon's splashguard is not great- It gets in the way and is another hurdle in an already unfamiliar process.

When my partner and I seperated- It was pretty heated and he mostly took trash bags of stuff. We later liquidated the apartment and weren't too attached to the hand me downs. Good thing we got back together he had absconded with many of my books!
