The bucket bath and shower is a bit disturbing to me. It looks very difficult to use. So tiny the curtain would hit you on all sides and how do you get into it? Does it have to be climbed into? Is there a step? Or am I just not getting it?

After seeing that piece on Sunday Morning, I have to see that a French 3-year-old definitely eats better than I do. They eat much better than anyone in my extended family.

All good advice from Animal Control. I find that if you remail calm and show them the way out, they will take it ASAP. Possums, racoons, birds, bats ususally just need to be guided to the right door or window.

Unless you have something that has actually taken up residence in your attic or chimney - then you have trouble that requires professional help.

Very funky, huge space where you can find a bit of everything. It's like a treasure hunt.

In Georgia, the worse thing in my opinion, are brown recluse spiders. I had a friend bitten by one years ago. Must have been in the grass at the lake her family was vacationing at. She did not know she'd been bitten until part of her foot swelled and started turning black from dying tissue. Dreadful things. I kill any spider that looks even remotely like a recluse and try to watch out for them under furniture and in shoes.

Coca-Cola seems like the best cleaner from my experience. It dissolves everything without etching & fogging glass. It's just hard to waste a good soda.

Fill it with a fresh Coca-Cola and let it sit overnight. Everything rinses out in the morning.

I would be afraid the sand would scratch glass vessels.

meant to say:

My family traditionally likes to fry a slice of pound cake in a skillet with a small amount of butter - just enough to make it crisp on the outside while still soft on the inside.

I would definitely return it and shop for a better-quality product.
There are probably better manufactures available that are not as expensive as Le Creuset.

Perfect timing! I have a lot of sugar snap peas ready now in my home garden in Georgia. I was looking for some new things to do with them. I keep eating them right off the vine before taking them into the house.

I always reheat rice and rice dishes in the steamer. It's the only way to get anything like a decent texture and flavor.

I think a lot of problems could be avoided just by having stores provide prints of the product or email photos with descriptions to any potential customers who request information. That is as important and helpful as providing swatches to aid people in making decisions on what to purchase.

It seems like most retailers would be willing to do that.

I picked up garlic scapes at a farmers market in Atlanta last week and used them in salad, pasta sauce, and most importantly in guacamole. Left intact, they're always a great way to dress up a plate or platter, too.

Anything with too much saturated fat. If there's more than a stick of butter or if it calls for baconfat or lard, I'm not interested in eating it.
