I like their brownie thin top cookies. I paired those with fresh marshmallow and made smorish cookie sandwiches! Apartment Therapy The Kitchen | Thursday Giveaway: Tastebooks from Epicurious |

I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to a martini. I prefer a splash of Gallo Vermouth with a 50/50 mix of Hendricks and Plymouth. Stirred and garnished with an almond stuffed olive (caperberries are fun too) I like the mix of the gins because while I love the aromatics of the Hendricks, it's a little too sweet for my palate on it's own. Fortunately, I find Plymouth is way too dry on it's own and together, just perfect. Apartment Therapy - Thursday Giveaway: Waring Pro Electric Martini Maker |

Mmm... fiddleheads. Wish I could find them here in LA. The only thing that needs to be done with them really is a quick steam or saute depending on how cooked you want them to be. Damp, Delicious Spring Treats |

If I'm not being lazy and just steaming or blanching them, I think you just can't beat tossing with olive oil and roasting them. (Ok, maybe a grill, but I'm a poor apartment dweller.) Virtual CSA Box: Asparagus |
